Hey, What Are You Doing? Student Training

This is a group energizer activity. Have students move into a circle for this activity. The teacher/facilitator will start by modeling some kind of action, such as stirring a pot. The person to the left of the teacher/facilitator will say, “Hey, (name), what are you doing?” The teacher/facilitator then responds by saying something completely different than what the action is showing. For example, while you are demonstrating the action of stirring in a pot, you might say, “Oh, I’m going for a jog.” The person who asked the question then has to pretend that they are jogging. While they are doing this, the person to their left should say, “Hey, (name) what are you doing?” Then, the person who is jogging will say something completely different and the process continues around the circle.
